I run a private horse rescue, and all the horses listed by me were pmu foals and mares destined for slaughter if not rescued. Many are registerable QH's and all are healthy, sound, friendly - some are halter/lead trained and some are under training. None are saddlebroke but are excellent training projects and their adoption fees are low enough to allow for training costs. Only good permanent homes will be considered. Vet and farrier references are required and, where possible, an onsite visit is required.

Gypsy is a rescued pmu filly, born on my farm when her already bred slaughter-bound dam was rescued from a Canadian pmu ranch. Gypsy has been handled from birth and is friendly and easy to work with. She is halter/lead trained but not saddle-trained. Her coloring is quite unique - this photo does not do her justice and better photos will be posted soon once she completely loses her winter coat. Vet and farrier references are required as well as an onsite visit to where she would be kept.
