Tes Two Tuff, Palomino Tobiano Paint For Sale in Oregon
$ 4,500 (Negotiable)
Tes Two Tuff, APHA 712362, is nicknamed "Shooter" and was bred and raised by an experienced horsewoman, so has received lots of attention and handling since birth. His sire was a tall, beautiful, colorful, deep-golden palomino tobiano Paint and his dam was lovely AQHA mare who won halter and western pleasure points in the show ring before becoming a broodmare. Because Shooter was so pretty, straight, correct and had such a good disposition, he was kept a stallion and was bred to several mares, producing some colorful, good-minded foals. His owner decided to get out of the Paint horse breeding business a couple of years ago, so Shooter was gelded and has been enjoyed as a pleasure, 4H, trail, show and High School Equestrian Team horse. Shooter has had years of training, including many months with a professional reining trainer, so a knowledgeable horse-person who knows how to cue him will find that he can do just about anything. He is light in the bridle, can extend and collect in each gait and even do a reining pattern. He is sensible and surefooted on trails, goes over bridges and through water quietly and is accustomed to traffic as well as the hectic atmosphere of a horse show. Shooter is good to handle on the ground, enjoys a bath, is mannerly with his feet and loads and hauls great. This tall, sound, eye-catching gelding can either be enjoyed in the arena, on the ranch or up in the mountains. He is current on all health care and lives in the La Pine area of central Oregon. Skips Tricky Chic, Bay Quarter Horse For Sale in Oregon
$ 2,000
Skips Tricky Chic is registered as AQHA 3852141 and NFQHA F0011974, at 90%. "Jenny" has a friendly, curious attitude as well as being a very correct, classy, well "V-d up" muscular and athletic. Jenny is straight, sound and bulging with muscle, as the 'old-fashioned' aka Foundation Quarter Horses were bred to be. She is well-broke to ride and goes out on the trails confidently by herself or with others. Jenny has also been taken to sort cattle several times and she showed her cow-sense and really enjoyed it. Jenny had lots of training in hand when younger, and has good ground manners. She was shown lightly in local horse shows as a four and five-year-old; then was bred two times to good Quarter Horse stallions and produced a buckskin and a bay, to whom she was an excellent mother. She gets along well in a herd situation but is also comfortable when kept by herself. Since Jenny has 'a lot of go' and is quick and fast, she will do best with a fairly experienced rider. She doesn't have any vices, is good to catch, lead, tie, groom, clip, bathe, shoe, and load and haul. She is being sold because her young-lady owner has another young horse to train now and she enjoys the challenge. Jenny is current on all health care and lives in the Bend area of central Oregon.
