Star Walkers is located just west of Leduc Alberta. In '97 we got into our wonderful breed of the Tennessee Walking Horse. And since then we haven't looked back. We absolutly love our breed! Nothing can compare with their awesome temperaments and smooth ground-covering gaits. We are now up 13 registered Walking Horses with a few always for sale, babies on the way, and a stallion standing at stud. Star Walkers is dedicated to raising and training a few well gaited Walking Horses with nice personalities for show, trail, and pleasure. Quality not quantity is what we look for. I have 10+ years of experience working with horses. My passion is horses and I train any horse as if it was my own. I want horses to have a good first experience so they can be life long partners that are willing to work and do anything asked of them throughout their lives. I have experience in many different disciplines. I was a member of pony club for several years. From that, I have experience in jumping, dressage, cross-country, games, as well as abundant knowledge on horse care. I have rode Tennessee Walkers pretty much my whole life and have the ability to get the best gait possible out of my horses. I also have done lots of western riding included gymkhana (barrel racing, pole bending, flags etc) and reining. Horses in training are ridden 5-6 days a week for about an hour. However, that can vary depending on the age and the needs of the horse. Horses are boarded individually on my own property and fed at least two times daily with constant access to water. Grain is also fed if needed. At Star Walker Training, we cater to your horses needs and they are treated like one of our own. From the trail to the rail, I can train your horse just the way you want.
