SnowFrost farm is a small private barn with a focus on a peaceful environment.
Here we focus on breeding, buying, selling, and training horses to suit every walk of life, with a focus on small breeders and first time owners. Honesty and integrity are the standards that we hold here.
Now relocating off Medway Road and Hyde Park, we've found a small farm that is ideal for raising horses. We are renting the barn and pastures, which is steps closer to realizing the dream!
Bare Bones Board- 125/month (GST applies)
This is for the hardcore enthusasist. In this situation, you care for your animal. Hay and bedding is to be done by you, as well as cleaning up.
Full Board- 275/month.
Covers the purchase of hay and feeding for your horse. Your horse is either in or out at night and all day outside. Constant access to water and shade. In case of heat or weather troubles, horses are kept in out of the sun. We clean the paddocks and do general maintence for your horse in terms of first aid and management. However, we will purchase it for you and bill later. Free access to trails and paddocks for riding. Grain to be supplied by the horse's owner
Barn Amenities
* 6 stall barn- 4 12x12 stalls with wire mesh on the top of the stalls so visibilty is allowed but horses are safe from any possible fighting
2 stalls are foaling size and are currently being used for storage
* large side tack room
* loft with storage space for hay, straw and other excess materials such as wood
* easy to use water access
* shade by the dozen. poplar trees add to the beauty and comfort of the property for horses
* pastures to be reseeded in the fall
* fencing is going to be altered in the future. Top fencing is secure and safe.
* paddock is used for a riding/training ring
* Miles of trail access in the rear area of the farm

Spa Day: Grooming and show prep. Clipping is done to enhance your horse but only to the style you want . Gentle and easy to use products. Massage and Stretching Included
Foaling Out: Yes, we have two stalls available to Foal out your mares! Stacie has had experience with tricky births and with sitting up long into the night with just a cellphone, some thick blankets, and a good ear for a birthing mare.

There is a 24 hour cancellation policy or client will be charged the full cost of the lesson.
* Horse left in training--priced based on client's and horse's needs.Please inquire
* Condition: $300. This is dependant on your horse's needs . Conditioning emphasizes long and low movements to better use your horse's energy. hill work, lunging, ponying, pole work, it all comes together.
Extra Services to Get your horse Pampered:
* Turnout: Free. We don't believe in horse's being inside for very long.
* Grooming (included in training fees if put in training. we also travel)
o Basic groom (includes brushing, hooves picked, fly spray if necessary)--$35
o Premium Full Groom (basic grooming, plus bath, face clipped, mane and tail brushed and if necessary tail braided and bagged, hooves oiled, ) --$100
o Photo Preparation: (full groom + Extra products used to highlight features) $150
