SpringHill Camps is a Non-denominational youth camp and our horse program is a big part of the camping experience. We do everything from trail rides with our guests, to riding lessons with our summer camps. A large portion of that program is an introduction to horses, but we also can accomodate riders who are more advanced. We are a large facility but take pride in the condition and care of our animals.

Merlin is so much fun, he is quiet and has the right kind of personality to make your day. LOVES people and is great on the trail. We have not put any formal Rocky Mountain training into him, but he naturally has all the gaits. We've spent time working on being consistant neck reining. Once he is consistant he is a kids horse<br><br>Health - great!<br>hooves - great! (great for farrier)<br><br>*height is approx<br><br>9.22.08 - Merlin cut his side on something, so he had to get a few stiches. It was a pretty clean cut, the vet does not expect much of a scar.

Charlie is a great trail horse, not spooky on trail, loves to cover ground. The only reason we are selling him is that he is a little too strong for our little riders, so we are making room for a more beginner/little kid friendly horse. <br><br>He is very good with intermediate rider and above. We use him the most on the trails, but we've started him in a few enlish lessons. He does neck rein, but needs an occasional reminder, does very well direct reining. We've jumped him a few times and he was a very willing participant.<br><br>Hooves - big and mustang like<br>Health - great!<br><br>

Spencer is a great pony to be around. He is easy to handle on the ground so he is great to give pony rides with. We've used him for trail rides and some lessons. He does great with other horses and has been used for some lessons with kids ages 7 and up. He is very predictable and is patient when rider needs instruction to ride.<br><br>Only reason we are selling him is to cut back on size of heard and because we don't use him often outside of summer due to larger riders. <br><br>Hooves - great<br>Health - great<br><br>
