We at Lakewood Farm feel that our horses are family therefore we offer a family atmosphere. With 2 farms we can fill any equine need. Our Filbert farm is close to town for easy access. Great for stallions and show horses with 12 x 22 stalls. The Smyrna farm is in the country great for the trail lover with 8-10 miles of cross country trails complete with jumps. The rolling hills are great for conditioning an endurance / event horse. Also a variety of trails leaving from the farm. We also offer Trail Riding for those horse lovers who don't own a horse. We offer peace of mind with a well planned feeding schedule. Fees are very reasonable for basic care. Horse Motel were a traveler can stay on the farm with the horses. We have large spacious stalls with turn out paddocks.Only 15 minutes off I-85.
We are close to two state parks. Kings Mt. State park is only 15 minutes away and Wood's Ferry 30 minutes away. Close commute to Charlotte / Gastonia. Farm Tours, Weddings, Birthday Parties, Drill / Flag team, EMSC Saddle club. Something for every member of the family. www.lakewoodfarm.com
