Requirements and Conditions
We are looking for a Intern/Trainer Assistant with riding experience. You get your housing paid, your utilities are paid etc. while you learn and polish your skills (no tuition, no books or dormitory expenses).
The ideal intern/assistant will be 18 (preferably 21 years) of age or older; Be willing to learn all aspects of training in western reining, western pleasure, and trail. Duties of the assistants include total care of all training horses including but not limited to riding, starting colts, feeding & watering, giving medications, grooming, lunging, clipping, etc. The assistants help break the young colts, ride older horses, assist at shows, etc. The amount of riding depends upon the amount of experience the assistant has.
A furnished queen bedroom (TV, Shower, own entrance, etc.) located on the ranch is available for the assistants and all utilities are provided. Additional to the housing are $40/week. You will be working 5 days/week.
