We have been rescuing Dachshunds at Dachshund Rescue NW since 1991 and have placed over 450+ dogs, mixes and purebreds. See our main web site for details on our adoption process. We do not ship dogs, require fenced yard for these loud hunting dogs that need exercise and this breed is not recommended for children under age 7 as they do not have enough patience.
