At Gleason Stables we start colts right; gentle and quiet. We start in the round pen with a variety of ground work teaching them trust, respect and cues. Moving on to accepting a saddle then rider. We have started fillies, geldings and studs ranging from quiet and gentle to hard headed and lazy to strong willed and high strung. The breeds we have trained include: Quarter Horses, Appaloosas, Arabian/Percheron, Half-Arabian, Trakehner/Thoroughbreds. All horses are started western we do not do english.
